The median income for a household in the township was $48,370, and the median income for a family was $59,688. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 101.1 males. For every 100 females, there were 88.3 males. The township's age distribution consisted of 25.6% under the age of 18, 8.5% from 18 to 24, 27.8% from 25 to 44, 24.4% from 45 to 64, and 13.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.41 and the average family size was 2.91. 27.40% of all households were made up of individuals, and 14.80% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. ![]() There were 500 households, out of which 32.20% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 46.80% were married couples living together, 7.60% had a female householder with no spouse present, and 37.40% were non-families. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.26% of the population. The racial makeup of the township was 97.60% White, 0.00% African American, 0.43% Native American, 0.17% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 1.80% from two or more races. There were 575 housing units at an average density of 14.10 per square mile (5.44/km 2). The population density was 28.59 inhabitants per square mile (11.04/km 2). Geography Īccording to the 2010 census, the township (T2&3N R8E) has a total area of 40.84 square miles (105.8 km 2), of which 40.29 square miles (104.4 km 2) (or 98.65%) is land and 0.55 square miles (1.4 km 2) (or 1.35%) is water.
